A busy few days of moving in to our new place and getting settled in meant that visiting the Boulder County Farmer’s Market was the perfect way to spend our first Saturday in Colorado. I am still trying to get used to seeing mountains in the background everywhere I go!
I have this thing for farmer’s markets. Of course it is healthier and much better tasting to buy produce from a farmer’s market. But even more than that, there is something about the bright colors and the flow of people into and out of the market that makes them almost magical.
We went home with a whole lot of delicious goodies from the Farmer’s Market, including two of my favorites, fresh Feta cheese from Haystack Mountain and some outstanding pumpkin bread from Outrageous Baking.
And another farmer’s market perk… having lunches like the one below! Yum 🙂
Can’t wait to see more of the farmer’s market through the fall! Come back next week to hear about our Boulder beer adventures!

I have a similar reaction to the mountains when I’m in Anchorage – it seems like whenever I turn around, there they are!

September 14, 2014 at 2:29 pmI love a good farmer’s market – we have a lot of them here in England too and my local one opens on a Sunday morning – when I have no weekend plans, it’s one of my favourite Sunday morning activities :~)
