farmers market

A busy few days of moving in to our new place and getting settled in meant that visiting the Boulder County Farmer’s Market was the perfect way to spend our first Saturday in Colorado. I am still trying to get used to seeing mountains in the background everywhere I go!

I have this thing for farmer’s markets. Of course it is healthier and much better tasting to buy produce from a farmer’s market. But even more than that, there is something about the bright colors and the flow of people into and out of the market that makes them almost magical.

We went home with a whole lot of delicious goodies from the Farmer’s Market, including two of my favorites, fresh Feta cheese from Haystack Mountain and some outstanding pumpkin bread from Outrageous Baking.

And another farmer’s market perk… having lunches like the one below! Yum 🙂

I love farmers markets! This seems like a fun one.

I have a similar reaction to the mountains when I’m in Anchorage – it seems like whenever I turn around, there they are!

Mmm I love markets and being able to eat fresh. Pumpkin bread sounds pretty delicious right about now.

I love a good farmer’s market – we have a lot of them here in England too and my local one opens on a Sunday morning – when I have no weekend plans, it’s one of my favourite Sunday morning activities :~)

It’s a great weekend activity when there’s not much else going on. Love all the fresh foods!

The mountains are glorious! I get so distracted when I go on runs because I can’t stop staring at them haha then having them in the background of the farmer’s market? Couldn’t be better!

So true! This one was fantastic, and one of the larger ones I have been to. Nothing better than fresh fruits and veggies!
