Passports with Purpose: You Can Make a Difference!

Can you believe it’s December already? I have a very special announcement to make to start off the month. The annual travel bloggers’ fundraiser called Passports with Purpose (PwP, or #PwP on social media) has just launched, and you have the opportunity to bid on some incredible prizes!Passports with Purpose

About the 2014 Fundraiser

Last year, over $84,000 was raised for buildOn to create two schools in Mali and fund two adult literacy programs. This year, all proceeds from the fundraiser go towards Sustainable Harvest International (SHI). For every $5,000 raised, SHI can help one family in Honduras learn to farm sustainably and feed their family. This training will last for five years and will have long-lasting benefits for the entire community! 100% of donations, exclusive of PayPal fees, will go to SHI. Read more about SHI here.

About Passports with Purpose

PwP has been around since 2008 when the founders saw an opportunity for travel bloggers to give back to the places we travel to around the world. Every year, the PwP team and hundreds of travel bloggers around the world join forces to support a great cause. The fundraiser supports the fact that even a small amount of money can make a significant difference for many families and communities – and this is your chance to play a role!
