I spend a lot of time on the road. Planes, cars, trains… you name it. Whatever it takes to get to my next destination. Through all these travels, dressing comfortably can make all the difference, especially when things don’t go as planned. After giving my new clothes from prAna a shot during the few weeks I spent traveling in Canada, it was instantly clear that I found my new favorite travel outfit. Why’s that? I’m glad you asked.
I felt like I was wearing fancy PJs
When I know I’m going to be sitting on a plane for a few hours, wearing comfortable clothes sure can make a difference. Until now, I always equated those comfy clothes with being less formal and looking like I’m ready to head to the gym. Which is sometimes fine, but other times I’m heading straight into my next meeting or activity after getting off the plane and don’t have time to change.
Enter prAna. My new yvonna tee and mantra pant combination immediately changed the way I view comfort while traveling. The shirt material is incredibly soft and it’s a relaxed fit so it’s not clinging to your skin. And the pants have an elastic waistband… need I say more?
I was prepared for a day of touring
I was in Québec City for the annual Women in Travel Summit, but I arrived early so I had time to discover the city before things got extra busy for the conference. Throughout the day walking the city streets of Québec City, my prAna yvonna tee had me ready for a full day of exploring. Plus, this outfit was so easy to pack because of how lightweight it is! That’s the best thing I could ask for as a carry-on traveler.
It’s perfect for relaxing lakeside…
After the Women in Travel Summit, much needed relaxation was my only requirement. A few friends and I spent a couple days at Muskoka Lakes to rejuvenate and take a breather from the long work days we just wrapped up. What outfit do you think I wore? You guessed it! My yvonna tee and mantra pant for the win.
…Or flexible when active
Because sometimes we just need to burn some energy! Seriously, check out that stretchy elastic band. That waistband sure came in handy when poutine started to become a regular part of my diet!
prAna works hard to create sustainable products
To make this deal even sweeter, prAna puts a lot of effort into sustainability practices. They use materials like organic cotton, hemp, and recycled polyester in their clothing, and many of their products are also fair trade certified. For example, the yvonna tee is made with an organic cotton and recycled polyester blend, and the mantra pant is made with a hemp and recycled polyester blend.
I can easily say that my prAna clothes are going to be either on my body or in my suitcase for all my travels moving forward. Whether I was on the plane, in a car, relaxing, or touring the city, this outfit was so versatile that I have no reason not to bring it along with me for every trip.
Special thanks to prAna for providing me with this outfit. As always, all opinions are my own. If you have any questions about the companies or products mentioned on this page, please reach out to me and I will happily answer them.
