I very much enjoyed reading this post, enough so that I even shared it on my own blog! No matter where life takes you, it is so important to be open to other people and cultures. I think this is one of the most important things to remember when traveling to someplace new or unfamiliar. In fact, I have decided to write an entire post about it, so be on the lookout for that soon! In the meantime, enjoy this reblog that truly emphasizes the importance of “little things.”
“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” – Maya Angelou
